This is my interpretation of a tray attributed to the North Tin-shop in Fly Creek, New York. Steven North apprenticed as a tinsmith and moved to Fly Creek, near Cooperstown, and opened a tin-shop. His sons, Albert, and for a short time Linus, operated tin shops. Distinctions on North tin include petaled flowers with wide center strokes with yellow cross-hatching, small strokes, or dots in the centers; scalloped flowers with over-strokes resembling a pinwheel; rosebuds; blossoms and buds may have yellow outlining. This piece is perfect as an addition to any decorating style.
