While I do not like dandelions in our yard, I do love looking at them and the complexity of their design—the leaves, which are also nutritious, the sturdy stem, the "poofy" seed head (can you resist blowing on one?), and the flower itself, with its simple layered petals. This design is based on 16-17 century botanicals, showing all the parts of this elegant flower. It's painted on a square frame with some texture products used to give it an aged look.
