Ellen Stamilio had designed spring, summer, and fall on the lid of the pantry basket. The last time I saw her, she said she had a few sketches for a winter design. Unfortunately she passed away before she had a chance to paint it. In cooperation with her husband, Mike, and PaintWorks magazine, I was privileged to design this piece to complete the series. I hope Ellen is pleased with it.
